In association with marketing outsourcing bureau Morres & Company, the plan was to devise a promotional campaign for the launch of a new product which would catch the eye of mortgage brokers.

Based on a Morres & Company concept which drew inspiration from so-called ‘keyhole figures’ in a previous design by Obvion, we produced a lively animation which, through text and visuals, explains to the audience exactly what Obvion’s latest product has to offer.

The animation film was then put on a video greetings card (a physical card incorporating a screen) and posted to 1500 mortgage brokers throughout the Netherlands.

OUTCOME

The result: a ground-breaking product launch that caught the immediate attention of mortgage brokers. This time, not via an easily forgotten online message, but by means of a ‘hand-held’ greeting card! This promotion even prompted one mortgage broker to show us the video card with the animation at a chance meeting, without them knowing who’d made it!
